This week has been all about the countdown to BlogOn at the weekend.
It is the last one as a conference style, but will be back as a family event, thankfully, we will still get to meet up with friends.
Here is our week:
Sunday 2nd October
I bought some Odeon groupon vouchers at the end of the summer and I had an email pop up to say they were expiring, so took the kids to see DC League of Super Pets.

It hadn’t been on my radar, but was actually quite good and the kids really enjoyed it.

I have been trying to catch up with friends for what seems like forever (it was definitely before COVID) and finally managed a meal and a catch up at a local pub. I just had to take a picture of my dessert – it was amazing!!
Monday 3rd October
“Pops” is normally at work when I have Lilah but was day off today, which meant a spot of silliness was in order.

Tuesday 4th October
Christmas reviews are starting to come in now and Sebby is in his element with his Hornit.

Not only is it a light, but it makes all sorts of noises as he scoots.
Wednesday 5th October
Sebby had Mission to Mars into school today, where they were making rockets and doing lots of STEM activities.

The highlight of the day was being invited into the playground to see them launch an actual rocket, which shot into the sky before falling back to earth on a parachute.
Thursday 6th October
A very busy day at work for me, with lots of donations going out to local charities.
My only photo was the sky at sunset.

Friday 7th October
Another busy day of donations and we put together 9 trays of food for Poole Food Bank.

When I picked the kids up from school, I discovered that Eliza had injured her hand. Her bottle fell out of her bag and apparently her friends were kicking it around the playground and she got kicked when trying to pick it up.

A phone call to 111 and a visit to Wimborne Hospital saw her get a splint and an appointment for an X-Ray on Monday. Hopefully it is just soft tissue damage.
Saturday 8th October
The final ever BlogOn Conference!!

I had some lovely catch-ups with people I have known for years, and managed to miss others I wanted to catch up with, but it was a lovely day.

Eliza managed to lose a tooth during the event too!!
How was your week?
Oh dear to Eliza with her wrist, hope it’s healing nicely. The blog on decorations look fab. Well done with the food bank donations
It was lovely to see you at Blog On and I’m glad there will continue to be family events! #project365
That is a very interesting looking dessert! The Mission to Mars event at school sounds fun – I love that they got to launch a rocket. Sorry to hear about Eliza’s hand – hope it has healed now. Sounds like you had a lovely time at BlogOn Xmas. I never managed to make it to a BlogOn conference but they always sounded like such great events. #project365
