Project 365 2022 – Week 45

Life is pretty uninteresting at the moment, we are back to the routine of work and school, but it won’t be long before the excitement of Christmas kicks in.

We are all excited about the return of I’m a Celebrity, although I am pretty fed up with Matt Hancock getting all the trials. I was so looking forward to seeing Moyles, Tindall and Scott getting challenged. Hopefully the novelty of voting for him will wear off soon

Here is our week:

Sunday 6th November

A quiet day at home today, although Sebby did announce that his Switch had stopped working.

We tried several different cards, but none of them worked, so had to book it in for a repair.

Monday 7th November

Monday is the day we look after Lilah and the first thing she asked for when she walked through the door, was to cuddle the “dragon”

Tuesday 8th November

Lilah joined us again for the school run and insisted on finding her toy Paddington was it was on the TV.

It was an uneventful day at work, we are currently in the prep stages for Christmas, but it’s all still calm.

The evening saw me head to a PTA meeting. The moon looked stunning over the school, although seconds after taking this photo, I got caught in a downpour and arrived home soaked.

Wednesday 9th November

It was a manic day at preschool as one of the staff was poorly, so it felt busier than usual. Thankfully, it made the time go quicker.

In the evening we gave Willow a bath as she is starting to shed and it helps. She loved scooting around in the water.

Thursday 10th November

The only problem with owning unusual pets, is that sometimes you have to share your car journey with a few bugs.

Friday 11th November

A busy morning for me at work, organising everyone for the 2 minutes silence. I managed to get all the managers at the front of the shop so it alerted customers to what was going on. Some still insisted on talking and shopping, which was slightly frustrating, but there is nothing you can do about it.

Saturday 12th November

A rare day off at the same time for my husband and I, so we managed to get the kids out for a walk as the weather was glorious – 17°C in November!!!

My plan had been to start the Christmas shopping, but it didn’t quite go to plan.

  1. It has been really mild hasn’ tit. It’s always such a shame at the minutes silence when people still wander around and talk. N said in class there were still some kids talking which is disgraceful.

  2. I am so bored of Matt Hancock too. He’s too good at all the trials, I wanted to see him suffer more.
Lilah with the bearded dragon on her knee did make me smile with the face she is pulling. x

  3. I love that Lilah wanted to cuddle “the dragon” – what a cute photo of her doing so. Willow looks like she enjoyed her bath. I’m not sure I’d be keen on having to deal with live bugs as food! It is frustrating when people ignore the 2 minute silence but there isn’t a lot you can do. Thomas kept trying to talk during our silence at church but he is too young to understand why he is supposed to be quiet. #project365
