A big birthday week in our house, with three birthdays!
We took Sebby to Pizza Hut to celebrate his, but sadly didn’t do much for mine. Callan went to Brighton with his girlfriend for his, before a carting session with his friends.
Here is my week:
Sunday 18th June
With my husband in Benidorm and work, I enlisted Abbey to help look after the kids and she treated them to a day out at one of her favourite places to visit as a child – Snowtrax.
From the videos, I am not sure who had more fun, her or them, but they all had fun. Meanwhile, I was dressed as a giant bear raising money for Help for Heroes………my goodness I was HOT!!!
Monday 19th June
A busy day at work and I didn’t take any pictures, apart from a screenshot of these cartoon which pretty much sums up my day most days!
Tuesday 20th June
Sebby is 10!!!!!!
Sadly it was a school day. but we went out for his favourite meal afterwards – pizza of course…….followed by cake!!
Wednesday 21st June
My birthday!!
Sadly a work day for me and then i spent the early evening ferrying kids to various clubs and my husband was late night, so no celebrations for me.
Thursday 22nd June
I spent my morning in another local Tesco store, raising money for a local hospice, Julia’s House, who are celebrating their 20th anniversary.
Some of our local managers headed off on a 10 mile sponsored walk around Poole and Sandbanks. We managed to raise £236 on our tombola, which wasn’t bad for a mornings work.
Friday 23rd June
My niece was performing in a school recital, so we headed along to her school to support her.
She is at a different school to Eliza and Isaac and this one specialises in music. It was lovely to see kids in Years 9, 10, 11 and 12 performing in their own bands.
Saturday 24th June
Callan’s birthday!!
I am all birthday’d out now, although we have another one in two weeks!!
My only picture was of a couple of cages of Prime that go on sale with us on Monday. The kids have already put their orders in!!
How was your week?
Happy birthday. Busy birthday week. Januarys are like that for us. I love a self checkout (but not the ones in Tesco – they never allow for a bag, and I don’t think I’ve ever done a scan without having to call over someone to help at least once, mind you Sainsbury’s keep changing their machines and they’ve got worse each time they change!), but so many people hate them. Our local page is always moaning about all the normal checkouts going.
Happy birthday to you, Sebby and Callan!!
Good on you dressing as the bear, especially in the heat we’ve been having.
I think my girls are over the excitement of Prime! Phew! x
Happy belated birthday to you, Sebby and Callan. A busy week for your family! I can imagine you must have been very hot in that bear costume. Hope your niece’s recital went well. #project365
Lots of birthdays and lots of fun! My kids are desperate to try Prime… Hope you weren’t too hot in the bear costume. #project365
Happy belated birthday to you. Well done with the fundraising for the food bank. I didn’t know PRIME was still a thing, I’ve never seen it anywhere
