For those of you who follow my blog, you will know I work for a supermarket and am on my feet walking most days, often hitting 20,000 steps are more.
I also suffer with psoriatic arthritis, which affects my feet and toes, causing pain and inflammation.
To combat this, I bought myself a cheap and cheerful foot massager last year, which has been used almost daily ever since, which has helped relieve some of my symptoms.
Last week, I was invited to review the MOUNTRAX Foot Massager and it has been an absolute game changer!!
My previous massager just had the heated balls that rotated on a pad, but this one uses a combination of massage, pressure and heat for an all round foot massage.

The foot massager is equipped with two independent rolling heads with multiple ergonomic small massage heads to massage more areas of your foot for an upgraded shiatsu massage and can accommodate feet up to a UK size 12. It also offers full coverage air compression, which gives you the experience of deep kneading and squeezing around the feet.
There are 3 kneading and 3 air compression intensities, which can be adjusted to personal preference using the touch panel, or the remote control.
I recommend you start at the lowest settings and work your way up. The deep kneading massage reduces muscle stiffness, relaxes muscle tissue, and achieves best massage effect, whilst the air compression intensifies the deep kneading effect. I did find the strongest setting of air compression was too much for me after a full day at work, although it did take away the swelling in my feet. The massager also automatically shuts off after 15 or 30 minutes.
The heating function can keep you warm while enjoying the foot massager, which helps to accelerate the body’s metabolism and blood circulation, but can also be switched off for use on warmer days. The fabric foot cover is also removable for easy washing
The other thing I noticed about the foot massager is that it is surprisingly quiet, although, it does make a “whooshing” sound as it releases the pressure around your feet.
