Well, the start to the year hasn’t quite gone to plan, but at least I have fixed the technical issues with my blog and launched my first giveaway of the year.
Here is our last week:
Sunday 19th January
I popped to my Mum’s in the morning to help her with her new phone. We had a few technical issues with her old Facebook page, so I decided to start again and set her up afresh. She only uses it to see what the family is up to.
In the evening we headed to see Illuminate at Blue Pool near Corfe Castle for their woodland light display.

It was lovely walking around seeing how they had lit up the lake and woodland, with the rope bridge being the kids favourite – I am not sure how I managed to get across without falling over as they made it wobble so much.

Monday 20th January
Back to work with a bump after a lovely evening and it was a tricky day as the auditors arrived.
Thankfully we passed and only have a couple of next steps to work on. My only photo from the day is of my colleague with a Land Rover door trim that he found in the car park – you’d think they would have noticed it had fallen off LOL

Tuesday 21st January
We had tickets to see Moulin Rouge tonight, but due to the kids rehearsals for Oliver, Abbey went in our place as there was no way to get there in time.

We don’t appear to be getting anywhere with our list, but are booked in to see a couple of local ones in the next few weeks.
Wednesday 22nd January
Our day off and just a couple of days until Eliza’s birthday, so we hit the shops to buy her presents. I hate January birthday’s as there isn’t much about. When she was younger, the toy shops didn’t have their post-Christmas restock until February time. Now she is older, we did manage to find a couple of bits in the sale.

I collect Costa points from the machine at work and had two free coffee’s to use up, so we stopped for a cheeky treat – the new Spanish latte is delicious!!
Thursday 23rd January
Another day at work.
We launched are new Stronger Starts charities a couple of weeks ago, but my poster never arrived so I had to improvise – thankfully I managed to arrange a reprint, so we are back to looking official again and I could finally post about it on Facebook.

I do appear to have a bow thief though, someone keeps taking them from the unit.
Friday 24th January
HAPPY 14TH BIRTHDAY ELIZA!!!!!!!
I started my blog when I was pregnant with Eliza, so am proud to say I have been doing this in some form for 14 years – WOW!

Can you tell she is a Traitors fan?

Saturday 25th January
A work day for me in the morning and it was an eventful one. First my colleague got stuck in a lift and it took nearly two hours to get her out. The second was a more exciting one – a regular shoplifter was finally arrested by the police thanks to a tip off from our store!!

The evening saw us heading out bowling for Eliza’s birthday treat with her friends.

When did they all get so grown up?

How was your week?
I am glad you have sorted out the tech issues on your blog, they are never fun!
The light display looks like fun and it’s so pretty!
Happy birthday to Eliza! I love those pj’s.
That was an eventful day at work, hooray for catching the shoplifter!
Happy belated birthday to Eliza! She looks so grown up now. Love the illumination photos, so beautiful.
Haven’t tried the new Costa coffee yet, since they closed our favourite Costa in town, we hardly ever go to a different one in town.
I haven’t watched a single episode of Traitors, but Eddie is a big fan.
Happy belated birthday to Eliza. Love the traitors card. M a fan too although i coulnt get N interested. 14 years blogging is a long time. I set mine up in 2011 a few months after he was born.
Happy birthday to Eliza and congrats on 14 years of blogging that’s a great achievement.
It sounds like a busy and eventful week for you at work, I hope your colleague was okay after her lift ordeal.
Love the photo of Eliza with the coloured lights. Shame you weren’t able to see Moulin Rouge. Hope Abbey enjoyed it. Happy belated birthday to Eliza and well done to you on 14 years of blogging. Looks like she had a fun evening out bowling with her friends. What an eventful day you had a work – great to have caught the shoplifter and hope your colleague was okay after being stuck in the lift. I was once stuck in a lift for a similar amount of time (with the kids when Sophie was a baby) and I’ve tended to avoid using lifts ever since. #project365
Happy birthday to Eliza! That cake looks yummy. Illuminated at blue pool looks really good I must take the kids to an illumination they would love it.
Such a shame you didn’t get to moulin rouge, but rehearsals always come first. I absolutely love your chalkboard list might have to copy you!
Corfe Castle light display and rope bridge looks amazing. I’d love an evening out there. Happy belated 14th to Eliza and happy blogversary also.
Oh no to your colleague getting stuck in a lift for so long. Glad the long term shop lifter was finally caught.
