The final few days before Isaac and Eliza’s show and they are getting very excited.
We haven’t really done much else, apart from a walk along the river, as have been busy working or ferrying the kids about.
Here is our week:
Sunday 9th March
A much needed day off and a nice clear day, so we headed to Canford Sang for a walk with my camera in the hope of spotting a Kingfisher.

My husband spotted a couple during week on this stretch of the Stour, but sadly there didn’t appear for us today.
Isaac and Eliza have their show this time next week and had a rehearsal in a hotel in Bournemouth. As Eliza was only there for an hour, there was no point going home, so we ended up having a wander along the beach.

Monday 10th March
As part of my community work, we have been tasked with making knitted kangaroos for our local NICU, who will be using them to promote kangaroo care. Today, two of my very talented colleagues brought theirs in.

Not sure what the challenge was and how it came about, but Isaac and Eliza insisted on trying to lift their Dad up.

Tuesday 11th March
Exciting news in my work world – we have been chasing a tank clean since before Christmas and they finally arrived to complete it.

Sadly, that was the highlight of my day LOL.
Wednesday 12th March
My day off and I headed out for coffee and cake to Tabby Terrace, a cat cafe in Dorchester, with my Mum.

I loved the cat on top of the mug of coffee, but the cats weren’t really interested in us. My Mum did get a brief cuddle from Bubble, but the other three were more intent on destroying a ball of wrapping paper.

It wouldn’t be a visit to my Mum’s without a photo of the local postbox topper and this one didn’t disappoint.

Thursday 13th March
Occasionally we get asked to provide a large amount of food for a donation to events (with plenty of notice). Today I put together a massive donation of 275 hot dogs, rolls, coffee and extra’s for the Dusk til Dawn charity walk of Poole Harbour.

Friday 14th March
An uneventful work day, but I had to take a picture of the moody skies with the full moon.

Saturday 15th March
A very, very long day.
It started with work and my 7-3 shift and then I went straight into chaperone mode for the first day of the kids show.
Isaac text me in work to say he had forgotten his white shirt and black t-shirt, so I made a quick detour via Primark, where I paid less than £10 for both and then walked through the gardens to the Pavilion. It looks warmer than It was LOL.

Luckily it was just dress rehearsals, but not getting out until 10pm was too long and we have yet to really experience the quick changes that we will have to do tomorrow.
How was your week?
Sounds like a busy week! Love the idea of knitting kangaroos for the NICU – so sweet! Hope Isaac and Eliza’s show goes well. Wish I had time to do a Project 365 like this myself, maybe I’ll use an emojimyface of my own life instead!
