WUKA Swimsuit Review

Although not a club swimmer anymore, Eliza still loves to be in the water, whether it be the beach, or working as a swim helper in the pool.

As I teenager, I avoided swimming at all costs during my period, but times and technology have changed for the better. At £49.99, period swimwear isn’t cheap, however, I took advantage of a discount code I found online and took the plunge.

The WUKA period swimsuit, looks just like a normal swimsuit, although the gusset area is thicker, like normal style period pants. Although you can feel the difference to a normal swimsuit, this is not noticeable to others and it is a game changer for some of Eliza and her friends who still swim competitively. Eliza chooses to wear hers with a pair of shorts over the top when she is working, but that is her uniform.

Looking after your swimsuit

After use, rinse with cold water until the water runs clear. This is best done immediately after removing.

Pop your WUKA with similar, dark coloured garments and wash cold inside out. Don’t use fabric conditioner and do not tumble dry – dry your WUKA Period Pants outside on the line or indoors on an airer.

By doing this you will increase the longevity of the product.
