WOW – what an Easter holiday we have had.
It feels like we just haven’t stopped for breath with Butlins last week and what seeming like a several events all happening at once (I am not complaining).
This week has seen us visit Longleat to meet Steve Backshall, venture to London twice and we even got up as far north as Leicester!
We have fed goats, dressed up as bunny rabbits and even held a rather scary looking lizard before being faced with a humoungous Incredible Hulk.
I cannot wait to tell you all about it but for now here are some of the highlights.
103. We went to the National Museum of Childhood in London for an HP event. The kids got to do all sorts of fabulous activities but their favourite was definitely the dressing up
104. Isaac is a huge fan of Steve Backshall so his birthday treat was to go to Longleat and see the man himself. The show was amazing and Isaac was awestruck seeing his idol up close
105. We drove to Leicester for a Next Kids event and got to see all their new seasons kids clothes. We were most disappointed we couldn’t take some away on the day
106. It was the Warner event today but they were strictly limited on numbers so I sent the Geek Squad of hubby and Kian up in my place……….they came back full of tales of superheroes and fun
107. We went on an Easter Egg Hunt in a deep dark wood in Wareham. Once we had found all the chocolate eggs left by a very careless Easter Bunny we built some shelters and even made smores over a campfire
108. We ventured to Longdown farm near Southampton. One of the highlights was feeding the (extremely greedy) goats
109. It was forecast to be a beautiful day so we headed to Studland for some kayaking with Studland Sea School. The weather took a turn for the worse but the kids loved being out on the choppy sea
I think I need a sit down!
This week we were invited to attend an event with Warner. Sadly the numbers were strictly limited so I sent the Geek Squad of hubby and Kian to London in my place.
They had a fabulous time and came back with tales of all the things they had seen and done in Warner HQ.
Hubby decided to make the most of some time in London and headed off to Madam Tussauds with Kian in tow which made for some amazing photographs.
This has to be one of my favourites, but can you give it the caption it deserves?
