Saturday is Caption Day – 31st May 2014

Last weekend we went to an epic Harry Potter themed birthday party that was hosted by my friend Joanne from Charliemoos.

The kids had a blast watching the magician, having their faces painted, drinking butterbeer and pretending to cast magic spells on one another.

The highlight of the party for most was this fabulous wanted poster frame that Joanne and her hubby made.  I was in charge of taking the pictures and then all the party guests got a wanted picture to remember the day by.

Saturday is Caption Day – 24th May 2014

This week we went to Peppa Pig World for Eliza’s best friend, Olive’s 3rd birthday.

The girls had an amazing time going on all the rides and posing for photo’s and I have to admit that Joanne (Charliemoos) and I had a blast too.

It is a rare day out that I don’t take my camera and this was no exception.  I was happily snapping away and got some stunning photo’s of the girls.

Hubby was looking through my efforts and this one really jumped out at him – he thinks they are like a pair of old women putting the world to rights, but what do you think they are saying?

Last weekend we went into Christchurch for their food festival.

We enjoyed looking around all the stores and seeing all the yummy food and drink they had to offer, but the kids favourite part of the day was stopping for an ice cream at the Quay.

They weren’t interested in posing for a nice photo for me, instead looking like an old married couple who had been arguing!

Last weekend was a busy one and we travelled Dorset to take part in Knob Throwing, to visit the Fossil Festival and Blandford Food Festival.

The highlight of Blandford Food Festival was visiting the local children’s entertainer who was busy transforming kids into pirates.

As you can see my two took their new role very seriously, but can you caption this picture?

Last Saturday Isaac had a Phaser Tag birthday party at Lemur Landings in Poole.

He had an amazing time charging around the soft play zone shooting his friends and bombing down the slide.  Kian was pleased he was allowed to join in too and won most of the games (well he was twice their age).

Here is Team ChelseaMamma and Team CharlieMoos all ready for action.

Saturday is Caption Day – 26th April 2014

We took a trip to Beaulieu Motor Museum on Bank Holiday Monday.

The kids loved looking at all the cars from Top Gear, running around the grounds and seeing the old fashioned cars driving around.

In the museum, we found a dressing up area and Isaac and Eliza had great fun trying on hats and coats and posing in an old fashioned car.

This week we were invited to attend an event with Warner.  Sadly the numbers were strictly limited so I sent the Geek Squad of hubby and Kian to London in my place.

They had a fabulous time and came back with tales of all the things they had seen and done in Warner HQ.

Hubby decided to make the most of some time in London and headed off to Madam Tussauds with Kian in tow which made for some amazing photographs.

This has to be one of my favourites, but can you give it the caption it deserves?

There are moments in your life that make your heart swell up with pride.

Watching your children achieve something they have been trying to do for a long time, or doing something that you wouldn’t do in a million years.

This week I had a few of those moments whilst on holiday at Butlins, but this one brings tears to my eyes and a huge smile on my face everytime!

Looking back at the pictures there are some funny faces, odd dance moves and lots of custard pies – but this one is ripe for a good old caption……….

Isaac broke up from school on Thursday and is super excited about the Easter holidays.

Did he come running out of school?

No – he hopped out as he is now the Easter Bunny apparently!

Saturday Is Caption Day – 29th March 2014

Yesterday we went to Legoland for the launch of Duplo World of Wonder and we got the chance to explore a remarkably quiet theme park.

Isaac and Eliza thoroughly enjoyed themselves and charged around posing with every lego figure they could find, trying to create the stance.
