Yvolution Strolly Compact Review

Kids trikes have come a long way since my eldest were little and I have fond memories of taking mine for a walk with their trikes and ending up going in circles as they insisted on steering themselves.

Thankfully times have changed and trikes are far more parent friendly and can also be used by much younger children in place of a pushchair.

Now there is a new Trike on the block – the Yvolution Strolly which comes boxed, requiring assembly.

I have to admit it did look a little scary and the instructions were not clear in some parts, but it clicks together without the need for a screwdriver or allen key and took just 20 minutes to fully assemble.

The Yvolution Strolly is suitable from 10 months and has an adjustable parent handle, a small attachable storage sack, reclining seat, a sturdy hood and parent steering, meaning there will be no going in circles if baby decides they want to steer.

Strolly Compact adapts as your little one grows and is a safe, sturdy and durable stroller that even Isaac, Eliza and Sebby could push along.

One of the things that sold it to me was that it had a unique folding mechanism for easy travel/storage, which I often find an issue with ours but I will admit I was disappointed.

The handle comes off and the back wheels fold under the seat unit and the handlebars fold out, but it is still a really bulky unit and still takes up quite a bit of room and for those with a small car boot, you would really struggle to fit it inside.

That said, I like the features of the Yvolution Strolly Compact and it will grow with your baby and convert to a trike once they are old enough to use it that way. Munchkin seemed to enjoy it too and I am looking forward to seeing all his adventures in it.

The Yvolution Strolly Compact is available from Mothercare with an RRP of £119.99.
