MadeGood’s Granola Bars – Review

I am always on the look out for tasty treats to put in the kids lunchboxes for school or during swimming gala’s, but often find myself restricted by school dietary rules.

Last month I was introduced to a new product which has recently launched here in the UK – MadeGood’s granola bars which are made with dried fruits and whole grains in a facility free from the most common allergens including peanut, tree nut, soy, dairy, egg, fish, shellfish, gluten, and sesame, making them safe for lunchboxes and school.

There are currently three flavours available to buy, with Chocolate Banana, Chocolate Chip and Mixed Berry.

The current favourite flavour in our house is Chocolate Chip, with the Chocolate Banana coming in at a very close second place.

As a parent, I am keen to ensure that the kids eat healthily and I am reassured that MadeGood® use pure sunflower oil that is low in saturated fat and has no trans-fat to help them eat and live a healthier lifestyle.  They are also perfect to give the kids an energy boost after early morning swimming training, or during a swimming gala.

All flavours of bars are vegan friendly and offers one of their “five-a-day”, as well as being a great source of fibre, vitamins, and minerals, which help contribute to a healthy digestive and immune system.

MadeGood Granola Bars

MadeGood Granola Bars are a tasty addition to any lunch box and are available to buy in Asda costing £2.79 for a box of 6.

  1. These sound like a good healthy snack option. My Mom enjoys granola bars from time to time and loves banana, I know she’d be up for trying these.

  2. I’m also always on the look out for healthier snacks as I struggle between meals sometimes. The chocolate chip one sounds right up my street x

  3. Fantastic that they are made in a facility free from common allergens which is brilliant for lunch boxes going to school. Love the variety of flavours, my eldest would love the mixed berry and I’d appreciate a healthy snack that could give him an energy boost.
