Saturday is Caption Day – 18th April 2015

Good Morning and welcome to this weeks #satcap.  I am away on a weekend break leaving the teens in charge of the house (eek), so may comment a little later than usual, but please don’t let that stop you joining in.

If you have not joined in before it is a super simple linky to do.

Simply pic a funny / cheeky / captionable photo and upload it to your blog with a sentence or three about it.  Then link it up with me below and visit the other people who link up and have a giggle as you come up with some humourous captions!

We have been busy making the most of the final week of the Easter holidays with lots of days out with the kids.

One of the highlights of this week were the local stars of WWE performing at the BIC.  I was not sure what to expect but it is a fun filled, adrenalin fuelled pantomime which soon has you clapping and cheering along.

I have so many photos I could use for this weeks #satcap but this is one the one that finally won.

This week has been packed full of fun with days out, easter egg hunts and friends over to play with.

Our Merlin passes expired this week and as Sebastian is a huge lover of fish we decided to make one last trip to Weymouth Sealife Centre to see their new Spongebob Quest.

I was trying to get a nice picture of the kids all together with a seal swimming behind them, but I am not sure Sebastian felt completely confident that it wouldn’t leap through the glass.

This week is all about the Easter break, although I had to wait until Thursday until ours began!

We started Good Friday as we mean to go on, with a trip out all with the added bonus of a chocolate reward.

Eliza was full of it and busy jumping in every muddy puddle she could find and then she discovered the rhododendron bushes. She spend ages climbing through them, hiding and then leaping out on people which made me chuckle.

I am actually very proud of this picture and was toying with it being my silent sunday, but there is something very David Bellamy about it, so, here it is:

This week I took Sebastian for his very first visit to the Oceanarium where he learned the word “fish” and shouted it out constantly for the whole hour we were there.

He was most fascinated by a shallow exhibit at the end of the experience that had a large Turtle swimming around in it.  After a wary start they were both soon following each other around and I genuinely think they were communication somehow.

WB Studio Tour

Saturday is Caption Day – 21st March 2015

Happy 1st Day of Spring!!

If you follow me on instagram you will know that we were lucky enough to visit the Warner Bros. Studio Tour last Thursday and got to see the brand new Hogwarts Express.

The kids adored climbing the train and riding broomsticks but there was one new feature that they couldn’t wait to try…….

Wand Training!

I was expecting just a few moves but it appears they were learning spells too!

This week we were lucky enough to be invited to the launch of Platform 9 3/4 and the Hogwarts Express at Warner Brothers Studio Tour London.

We had an amazing evening looking at all the props from the film, flying broomsticks, riding in the infamous Flying Ford Anglia and even hiding from some eerie Dementors aboard the Hogwarts Express.

I cannot wait to tell you more about it, but my satcap photo leapt out at me as soon as I saw it.

Go on, let loose and caption this – my slightly crazed looking hubby won’t mind!!

This week’s offering from me is something that may be familiar to most bloggers………that moment when your child needs help. Perhaps they are stuck or have done some mischievous and need help out of that situation.

What do you do?

Help them?

NO!!!!!!!!!!

You reach for your camera for that all important shot!

Last weekend we went to Moors Valley with friends and Eliza decided she would attempt the spiders web – a climbing frame more suited for older children.

This week I have to admit that I was a little sad waving the kids back off to school this week as we had such fun during half term with days out to local places and even a visit to London to take part in the launch of the new Vtech Action Cam.

This event took place in a rather cool skate park in Central London and the kids soon got their attitude on.

Yesterday we went for a walk along the beach at Swanage and the kids enjoyed digging in the sand and running around on the sand as there was a super low tide.

Sebastian was a little monkey and kept bombing towards the edge of the water – I was convinced he wasn’t going to stop at one point but he did.

Saturday is Caption Day – 10th January 2015

Since Christmas I have been struggling to get Sebastian back into his routine and I had hoped that with the kids going back to school that this would help.

It appears not!

The following photo was taken at 9pm last night whilst he was busy racing up and down the room wearing his Superman pyjamas!
