To my Husband on Fathers Day

To my Dear Husband,

With Fathers Day almost here, I have to thank you for being a great Dad.

You took my little family on and unconditionally loved us all, and although my first born don’t see it yet they will appreciate what you have done for them one day.

When Kian arrived I’ll never forget that ashen face, overcome with emotion and sheer exhaustion.  You took to dealing with a baby extremely well despite working nights and it was easy to see you adored each other.

Then along came Isaac and Eliza whom both adore their Daddy.  I love watching their little faces light up when you get home from work, and how you down tools and ensure they are all given your full attention, even if you’ve had a hard day.

We’ve had our ups and downs as a family – who doesn’t.

We’ve made parenting mistakes – who hasn’t?

What is important is that we have learnt from them, and are the best parents we can be.

So, to my dear Husband, we all wish you a very Happy Fathers Day and a nice relaxing day on Sunday!
