I don’t know about your kids, but mine are a little obsessed by Disney’s Planes at the moment, so you can imagine the excitement when Duplo’s Ripslinger’s Air Race arrived for us to review.
Perfect for Eliza (2) and Isaac (5) – Isaac took charge of this build and I was impressed that he didn’t need any help from his big brother.
LEGO DUPLO has introduced three Disney Planes themed building sets, which each feature different characters and sets from the movie, so children everywhere can bring their favourite characters home.
Isaac wants to collect them all so he and his sister can re-create the scenes from the film and race around the house.
The Dusty and Chug models are soaring in to a flying start and the set also includes a spanner (for all necessary repairs) and a fuel gauge to ensure Dusty is always fully topped up.
Skippers Flight School sees Dusty paired up with reclusive Navy Consair Skipper. With practical forklift friend Dotty in tow and the Flight School building set, Isaac has his heart set on this set next.
Both Isaac and Eliza enjoy playing with this set and can often be found haring around the house with their planes seeing who will be the winner.
We have not had any Lego Duplo before and I am really impressed with it. It is strong and sturdy and can be used with the regular LEGO bricks too. We will definitely be adding to the collection this Christmas as it is the perfect introduction to LEGO for the younger ones.
