Baby’s First Christmas with Kiddicare

When you have babies and young children the temptation to spend a huge amount of money on them is massive, yet the truth is they don’t understand what is going on and would be perfectly happy with a ball of screwed up wrapping paper and an empty box to bash.

But, a baby’s first Christmas is a magical milestone for the whole family. They may be too young to understand exactly what’s happening, but a gift to mark the occasion can be treasured for years to come.

In time for Christmas, Kiddicare is proud to reveal a brand new and exclusive range of toys for children from birth to five. For even the tiniest of babies, there’s teddies, play gyms, puzzles, books and motion toys to encourage your little one’s development and create childhood memories. And with 3 for 2* on all toys in Kiddicare’s Buzzing Brains, Sunny Safari and Woodland ranges, Kiddicare has your baby’s first Christmas gifts wrapped up.

Sarah Lafarge, shopping editor at the UK’s leading parenting magazine Mother&Baby, offers these tips for choosing a first Christmas gift:

  • Toys such as baby gyms develop early motor skills and hand eye coordination.
  • Simple puzzles encourage problem solving as babies reach the six month mark.
  • Toys that are interesting to touch or that make repetitive sounds will be a hit – baby’s love music and singing to them can help develop communication skills.
  • It’s never too early to introduce books. Picture books make brilliant first gifts.
Kiddicare’s 342 toy promotion runs 5th November to 2nd December 2013 inclusive, in-store, online and via the Kiddicare mobile app.

To help make Christmas shopping for the newest member of the family easier, baby expert Kiddicare offers a selection of fantastic ideas, from stocking stuffers to keepsakes.

    3. The Stroll-Along Walker would be good. If my little boy is anything like me he’ll be shuffling along on his bottom for ages…so this would be a great encouragement for him.
