Baby Proofing Time

I hate to say it but as Sebastian has almost reached the grand old age of 9 months, I have started to think about baby proofing the house…….. again!

He is sitting well now and can move himself to reach a toy just out of his reach, so I know it won’t be too much longer before he is crawling and getting himself into all sorts of mischief.

My best advice for baby proofing is to get down on the floor and see the room through your baby’s eyes.  Although we still have plug covers in place, safety catches on the doors and cupboards bolted to the walls, we have relaxed a little as Eliza is 3 now.

My stair gates have lasted through Isaac and Eliza plus numerous mindee’s and have seen better days.  In fact two are broken and in desperate need of replacing and soon.  I have to admit that buying safety equipment is not high on my list of shopping experiences and this is where www.safetots.co.uk is worth its weight in gold.

Safetots provides a shopping destination for the very best brands in baby and child safety products and offer expert advice and information for parents and carer’s to enable them to provide a safer environment for their children to grow up in.

They have literally though of everything from highchairs to ear defenders, suitcases to bath seats, and much much more.  I am going to invest in some wooden stair gates as I prefer the look of them to metal ones
