A visit to LEGOLAND® is one of kids favourite days out, so we couldn’t wait to surprise them with a visit during half term.
We were invited by the Residence Inn Slough and Legoland Holidays to try their overnight package, which helps families make the most of nearby LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort, home to the new LEGO® MYTHICA: World of Mythical Creatures which is now open!
In addition to one-day entry to the park, just a 20 minute drive away, the package includes an overnight stay in a spacious Residence Inn suite, with fully-equipped kitchen and extra living space for a home-from-home experience.
The rooms are perfect for families, with a TV in the bedroom and the lounge area, both which allow you to screen share from your device, so you can watch any of your streaming services and not have to rely on terrestrial TV – a great option with small people in tow.
The kids were welcomed with activity packs and a LEGO® kit on our arrival, which they were over-the-moon with and got to work on almost straight away.
Also included in the package is a delicious breakfast and use of the hotel’s facilities, from the exclusive top-floor bar and games lounge, to on-site gym and free parking.
The hotel is in the ideal location, with Slough train station less than a five minute walk from the door (Central London is a 20 minute train ride away), and a huge Tesco Extra over the road, if you choose to save money by self catering.
The new LEGO® MYTHICA area is fabulous and the kids new favourite ride is the Flight of the Sky Lion, which sees you go up and soar into a mystical realm powered by imagination on the UK’s first Flying Theatre Ride!
Prices for the tickets and hotel package for a family of 3 start from £282 incl VAT (based on 2 adults and 1 child sharing a one-bedroom suite).
